Got some time to work on the coop today.
It is much more difficult to find a big enough piece of time to make it worthwhile to drag out the tools and such, as opposed to when Don and Mary were out here.
Nevertheless, today I managed to get the main structure mostly assembled.
Still need to solve the problem of what to use for a roof, and need to build the nest box etc…
But progress is being made, and we’ve got a while before the chicks are ready to head outside.
It is starting to look pretty good though.

ohmigosh you have no idea how jealous my husband is of your coop and chicks! He has been dreaming for years about making the dog run into a coop…we need to get together and talk chicken!

Dan I really like your blog. I hope you keep it up. I just started one for Niko. We’ll see how long I stick with it. I’m not very good about being consistent about these things.
